MINORS: Low-A leaders—Prospects or not?

It isn't a secret that major league organizations stress development over winning in the minor leagues. This is prevalent in the lower levels, especially in full-season Low-A. At that level, you'll see a combination of high-upside players alongside roster filler. But even with a glance at league leaderboards, it's hard to tell the difference.
There are many reasons why statistical leaders in Low-A may not be top prospects. For one, there are certain home ballparks that may inflate offensive numbers. Asheville in the South Atlantic League, for example, is known for its friendly dimensions. In addition, some players may be old in relation to the rest of the league.
