With just a few weeks to go in the 2012 minor league season, we take another tour around the minors to see who is hot and who is not. Next week we begin to take a look at possible September call-ups. On 8/17 we take a look at possible AL call-ups, followed by the NL on 8/24.
Triple-A Update:
The Arizona Diamondbacks Tyler Skaggs (LHP) has been lights-out since being promoted to Triple-A Reno. In 8 starts with the Aces, the left-handed Skaggs is 4-1 with a 1.70 ERA. On the year, Skaggs now 9-5 with a 2.38 ERA, 35 BB/112 K, and a .236 BAA in 117.1 IP.
The Atlanta Braves Julio Teheran (RHP) continues to be ineffective for Triple-A Gwinnett. In his last 10 starts, the 21-year-old right-hander is 1-4 with a 7.93 ERA. Teheran has...
