MINORS: Ranking the prospects from 2016 trade season

The MLB non-waiver trade deadline was a busy one in 2016 with no fewer than nine top 100 prospects moving to a new organization. The New York Yankees were the big winners, landing top top prospects Clint Frazier, Gleyber Torres, Billy McKinney, and Justus Sheffield for Andrew Miller and Aroldis Chapman. The Oakland A’s also netted three high-end pitching prospects in Grant Holmes, Frankie Montas, and Jharel Cotton from the Dodgers for Rich Hill and Josh Reddick.
