First-year player draft potential rating buckets (2024)

For the first time in my writing career, I attended the draft in person, this year at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas. I put together the Scouting Round One article from the press row as each name was called. We prepared 46 capsules before the draft, and 28 saw the light of day.
