One of the common refrains you hear from analysts in the aftermath of free agent deals for starting pitchers in 2022 is that “Team X sees upside in Pitcher Y and they will likely tweak his arsenal to get more out of him.” Given what we do in the Arsenal Report, this seems like a perfect opportunity to break down a few of the pitchers that received large free agent deals and analyze what their current arsenals look like as well as what their new teams could potentially be trying to modify.
