Dylan Cease's Struggles
When looking at Cease from a year-by-year standpoint, it's hard not to wonder about his success every other year. However, Cease's xERA over the past two seasons has been slightly better than his career average. That shows Cease is probably more of a high-end pitcher than a cuttable asset. As the saying goes, process over results, right? It's something we think about when the outcomes haven't been as favorable.
Maybe, this is selfish, but if you're like me, having Cease on teams has been brutal for the ratios. So, let's see if we can figure out why Cease is struggling.
