For some owners, batting average is the only offensive ratio that matters when it comes to racking up points in the standings. Yet as fantasy baseball has become more popular and more advanced platforms have made customized leagues more common, many owners are incorporating other ratio statistics into their respective scoring systems. This can be an enjoyable wrinkle, especially because it opens up the player universe as even BA-comprised sluggers become more valuable.
