BATTERS: Mid-season LIMA reinforcements

As a strategy, LIMA is designed to produce a formidable offense that is balanced while also offering some power/speed upside. While LIMA has proven to be a successful approach to building a roster, even the most tried and true strategies can produce flawed results. For those owners that drafted using LIMA guidelines yet are still dealing with an underperforming offense, do not despair. The Batter Buyers Guide is here with some suggestions to reinvigorate your stagnant lineup.

First, let's quickly review the qualities of an ideal LIMA batter:

  • Walk rate of 10% or higher
  • Contact rate of 80% or higher
  • PX and/or Spd of 100 or more
