BATTERS: Quarter pole underachievers

To paraphrase the famous MTV tagline for The Real World, "It's time for owners to stop being polite and start getting real." Patience was the move for the first six plus weeks of the season, but now is the time to start an honest evaluation of one's roster. There are a multitude of resources on BaseballHQ.com to assist with evaluating a lineup, but for the next two weeks the Batter Buyer's Guide will revisit an exercise developed by Patrick Davitt that provides a great shorthand method for identifying both underachievers and overachievers to this point.
