BATTERS: Shaky investments...

While it may be more exciting to search for value in the form of underrated players heading into drafts, it's just as critical to know which players represent the greatest risk. This is especially true in the early rounds of drafts, where it's said an owner can't necessarily win a league by drafting well, but can most certainly lose one by choosing poorly.

With that in mind, this week's article has a simple goal: highlight the players going early in drafts—batters who are costing owners the most in terms of dollars/picks but are also most likely to disappoint in 2014.

The batters on the list are currently being selected in the first 100 picks of NFBC drafts. Most of these players are established performers, and some are even superstar...
