Let's be honest: Sleepers are a dying breed. With so much ink being spilled covering baseball these days, it is becoming rare to identify players that truly are flying under the radar. So it goes then that each writer striving to compile a fantasy sleeper list must decide between aiming for shock value or actual value. The list below opts for the latter.
The names discussed will not be foreign to most fantasy owners, however the goal is not to shock with names out of left field. Rather, the purpose of this piece is to highlight market inefficiencies and in doing so, re-contextualize the reader's perception of these players and their respective individual value for 2014.
