Lineups Outlook: New leadoffs Donovan, Yastrzemski, Freeman

Although productive by batting average, the Cardinals needed more power from the third spot in the lineup, prompting a switch. San Francisco has had a revolving door at leadoff.   • Brendan Donovan was the primary third-hitter in the lineup until June 15, when he moved to leadoff, coinciding with Alec Burleson replacing him in the heart of the lineup.
