Early look at AL pens for 2027

This final column for 2026 looks ahead to the offseason for AL pens (Last week was the NL). The stats in these columns date from the beginning of September. These are long columns, but it's a lot of good info in one place. We start the AL with the Chicago White Sox.

The Chicago White Sox have shocked the league by competing for the AL Central all season long. The bullpen has played a big role. Grant Taylor (RHP, CHW) is clearly the cream of this crop and pitches as a “best available” reliever, getting saves, holds, and leverage.
