RELIEVERS: 2019 AL Relievers

As the sun sets on 2018, the only thing to do from a relievers standpoint is to look ahead to 2019. Today, the American League; next week, the National League. There are multiple free agents in play this winter, as well, and this column will touch on the significant ones who are leaving AL teams.

The goal of this column is not to mention every reliever. It is to provide the top arms by BPIs under the control of each team. Going alphabetically, we start with Baltimore. The Orioles had a woeful year and end the season with Mychal Givens (RHP, BAL) as the incumbent. But Givens did not post the best BPIs for this pen in 2018. Here are the top three by year-to-date BPIs:
