RELIEVERS: Checking in on CIN, COL, LAA, MIN, TAM

This week, the column is back looking at some team situations, starting in Cincinnati.

Last week, this column mentioned Lucas Sims (RHP, CIN) as the reliever most likely to save the majority of games for the Reds due to a 31% K-BB% in April. But things have gone south during the week since and Sims now stands with a 4.20 xERA and 66 BPV. What now? Sean Doolittle (LHP, CIN) is getting a little more leverage as the top lefty over Amir Garrett (LHP, CIN) and Tejay Antone (RHP, CIN) is being asked to take his multiple-inning stints to the end of games, at times. It has been chaotic. Here are the usage numbers as well as xERA, BPV and BA by lefties and right-handers:

CIN Sv BS Hld IP Cln/App LI xERA BPV vL ...
