RELIEVERS—Twelve elite skill sets to consider for 2015

As promised, this week we provide an early look at 12 relievers worth targeting for 2015. These are not closers yet—and in some instances, are not expected to be closers in 2015. But cream rises to the top and nowhere in baseball does change happen more quickly than in bullpens. Use some judgment, though. Do not cut playable keepers on role speculation for seven months from now. These are for teams who can take flyers on relievers for next year in search of profit. Many of these relievers will be owned in standard leagues, but also might be traded for rather cheaply. We start with six AL relievers:

IP ERA WHIP Dom Cmd HR/9 xERA G/F BPV

This column covers relievers who might cost you a lot chasing saves but then fizzle out because of skills or injury risk.

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
