This week we continue our annual review of the top prospects in baseball by position. Similar to the catching crop outlined last week, the 1B position is very thin. Only four 1B appear in our Top 100 list and only one player figures to win a starting job in Spring Training.

Finding stolen bases is a thankless task every year for fantasy owners and this year it could be even tougher as owners overpay for the few Judys who can swipe 20+ bases.

At First Pitch Arizona 2011, Ron Shandler introduced a new challenge salary-cap game. Each owner was provided with a list of player valuations and tasked with selecting a 40-man roster without spending more than $350. The valuations were based on player performance within the Roto500 scoring system over the last two years. Here, we look at the players that would provide the biggest expected bang for the buck if drafted on day one.
