Coming into the season, Boston’s starting pitching was considered by many to be a relative weakness of the team, especially after the season-ending injury to Lucas Giolito. However, the team’s starting pitching has been a major strength thus far, as Boston’s rotation has amassed a 1.53 ERA, the best mark of any team in the majors.
