The Royals are in a virtual tie with the Texas Rangers in steals (through games of May 12), averaging just a tick under one stolen base attempt per game played, to lead the American League. This is without Adalberto Mondesi (SS, KC), who has been rehabbing his strained right oblique muscle at the Royals spring training complex, and is expected to begin a rehab assignment of unknown duration on or about May 13. With Mondesi on the shelf, who has been doing all of the running?
