While the new collective bargaining agreement has been designed to discourage service time manipulation of top prospects, signs are starting to mount that fantasy managers will have to wait a little while for one of the game's best, Adley Rutschman (C, BAL).

First, Baltimore has signed a competent (if oft-injured) veteran in Robinson Chirinos (C, BAL). Chirinos started 2021 in the Yankee organization but fractured his right wrist in the preseason. After being granted his release, Chirinos signed midseason with the Cubs, where he showed that he still harbored some of the power skills of his earlier career (3 HR in his first 22 AB), even at his advanced age. But by the end of the season, he was back on the injured list...
