With just 67 games remaining, SEA has been given a better than 50% chance of reaching the postseason by odds-makers. As we've noted often in this space—most recently last week—in contrast to its stellar pitching, SEA's offense is currently 11th in AL runs, with the OF being the glaring weakness. And now dead last in July scoring headed into the break and suddenly losing their best offensive-performing OF Michael Saunders indefinitely to an oblique strain, the Mariners need for an OF bat has become even more urgent.
Seattle has some decent minor league trade chips, but they will be selling low on their most MLB-ready pieces, notably poor performers Nick Franklin (SS/2B, SEA), Erasmo Ramírez (RHP, SEA), and even...
