For most of the season, we've tracked the tentative left field position and the revolving door created following Marwin Gonzalez's (SS/OF, HOU) poor start. And now as recently suspected, prospect Kyle Tucker (OF, HOU) is a looming factor going forward. Hitting just .276 with 4 HR through his first 192 AB, Tucker didn't exactly begin 2018 like gangbusters—and his age (21) coupled with less than 500 AA/AAA career AB kept us skeptical as to his 2018 value. But now through 90 June AB, Tucker has exploded with a .411/.450/.678 line (5 HR, 7/0 SB/CS) that has raised his year-to-date BA to .316.
