Aside from shortstop, the Reds figure to have a fairly stable infield with Joey Votto (1B, CIN), Mike Moustakas (1B/2B, CIN), and Eugenio Suárez (3B, CIN) all projected to maintain near everyday roles. However, they boast little meaningful depth at any of the positions, with current options on thE 40-man roster consisting of Max Schrock (2B, CIN), Kyle Farmer (2B/SS, CIN), and Kyle Holder (SS, CIN). Given those uninspiring options, it will be worth keeping an eye on Jonathan India (3B, CIN).

India isn’t likely to make the Opening Day roster for a number of reasons, most notable of which is that he isn’t on the 40-man roster and the likely continued need for his development at the alternate site. However, it may not be...
