PT TOMORROW: NL East—Zac Attack?

Miami Marlins

There was much speculation—hope, really—surrounding the Marlins’ choice to replace José Ureña (RHP, MIA) in the rotation after he was placed on the 60-day IL with a herniated disc in his back. When the team elected to promote Jordan Yamamoto (RHP, MIA), we could almost hear the collective groan by fans and fantasy GMs alike. The hope, of course, was that Miami would see fit to bring up one of the most talked about prospects in the game, Zac Gallen (RHP, MIA). While there are practical considerations explaining current their choice, what if the Marlins suffered still more injuries or extended bouts of ineffectiveness by their young starting pitchers? What if they decided to finally pull the trigger on Gallen?
