Examining the 2024 Holds leaderboard

This week, the column takes a look at holds. The first three groupings are the year-to-date leaders, and then the next three groupings are the projected leaders among the remaining relievers with at least four holds to date. For those who are in holds leagues: Yes, you want as many holds as possible. But you also have to select relievers with skills that are good enough to remain pitching in leveraged roles. 

Part of that is knowing the reliever's own skill set and part of that is knowing the skills of the relievers available in that particular pen.
