Reliever projections at the 2025 All Star Break

As we recover from the lull in the schedule (and how about that Home Run Derby?), let's focus only on the rest-of-season projections. As you contemplate trades or moves to help your team to the finish line, saves are often a stand-alone category that can be traded away or traded for. If you need to make a move, who will earn you some value?

We take them in bite-sized pieces, starting with New York Mets closer Edwin Díaz (RHP, NYM), who is projected to earn $19 over the balance of the year in standard mixed 5x5 leagues, and then the four closers after him, each expected to earn $14:

This column covers relievers who might cost you a lot chasing saves but then fizzle out because of skills or injury risk.

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
