First look: 2024 relievers

Opening Day brought us Jason Foley's (RHP, DET) spectacular save for the Tigers, Adbert Alzolay's (RHP, CHC) first save chance for the Cubs, blown by a home run allowed to Travis Jankowski (OF, TEX), José Leclerc's (RHP, TEX) first run allowed on a wild pitch, but David Robertson's (RHP, TEX) rescue in extras for the Rangers, David Bednar's (RHP, PIT) unavailability to the Pirates in a close one due to his continuing recovery from a lat injury, and Griffin Jax's (RHP, MIN) save after Brock Stewart's (RHP, MIN) eighth inning, just the way the Twins drew it up. The White Sox, Marlins, and Padres showed some interesting usage as well.
