RELIEVERS: 2018 Baseball Forecaster LIMA "A" grades

The offseason is a great time for filtering lists of players. This column focuses on two things—the recently-released 2018 Baseball Forecaster LIMA "A" grades, and xERA under 4.00. LIMA was invented by Ron Shandler and stands for "Low Investment Mound Aces"—named for former pitcher Jose Lima. You can find a detailed explanation on page 54 of your 2018 Baseball Forecaster and there is plenty written on the BaseballHQ.com website about it (like this). The short version for this column's purposes is: the relievers with strongest skills and lowest price, ignoring actual ERA and roles. A LIMA grade of "A" means the reliever is at the top of skills with lowest price filters.
