RELIEVERS: Balance of season saves projections

This week, we have gone to the projections to see where the saves are expected to come over the remainder of the season. Currently, 50 relievers are projected to have at least three saves. The projected innings pitched for these 50 relievers are between 21 and 42 innings. Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Cleveland and the White Sox are the only teams projected to have three or more relievers each with three or more saves. All other teams have just one or two relievers projected for at least three saves. We have split these 50 relievers into three groups by expected ERA—under 3.00 xERA, 3.00-3.49 xERA, and 3.50 and over xERA. We start with the elite twelve, under 3.00 xERA:
