RELIEVERS: Changes for the better?

This column includes Arizona, but it starts in Texas.

Why Texas? Because Neftali Feliz (RHP, TEX) has been booted from the role with a 4.70 xERA and just 10 of 16 clean appearances in 2015. The Rangers declared that there is no set role of "closer" on the team. Here's the problem:

TEX Sv IP Dom Cmd HR/9 xERA BPV Clean/App LI LI'

Feliz 6 16.3 8.3 2.1 1.1 4.70 56 10/16 1.87 2.18
Tolleson 0 17.3 12.5 8.0 1.0 2.35 203 13/17 1.35 1.43

This column covers relievers who might cost you a lot chasing saves but then fizzle out because of skills or injury risk.

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
