RELIEVERS: Closers at risk for June

Now that May is over, we go back to see which pens have closers who are most at risk. We start in Cleveland where closer Cody Allen (RHP, CLE) has a fat 5.85 ERA through May:

CLE Sv IP Dom Cmd HR/9 ERA xERA xERA' BPV Clean/App LI LI'
============   == ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ===== === ========= ==== ====
C.Allen        10 20.0 13.5  2.3  0.5 5.85 3.93  3.29  92   13/21   0.84 0.79
McAllister      0 27.3 10.9  4.7  0.7 3.29 3.15  2.13 154   11/17   0.82 0.75
B.Shaw          0 14.7  7.4  2.0  1.8 3.06 4.67  4.39  49   14/22   1.05 0.70

Allen has been better with an xERA of 3.29 over the past 30 days, compared to the 3.93 xERA across the entire season. He doesn't deserve his 5.85 actual ERA and this will go down....

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
